Details

I am married to Sue and have two grown-up children who now live far away from Grove, a daughter in Australia and a married son, and grandson, in Nepal. We moved to Grove in 1989 and I first joined the council in 1994. I have previously been chairman of the Leisure & Recreation committee before being elected Chairman of the council in 2002.

As Chairman I am often called on to represent Grove at various events throughout the local area as well as in the Vale and the County. During my time as Chairman the main issue has been the development of 2500 houses on the airfield. I, along with other councillors, are determined to ensure that when the development eventually arrives we have all the facilities and infrastructure that are required for a development of that size.
 
When I’m not involved in council business I enjoy photography, reading and watching sport.
