I serve on Grove Parish Council, chair the Environmental Services Committee and serve as Grove's parish transport representative. I also represent the Council on the Wantage & Grove Traffic Advisory Committee and the Community Health Committee.

 
Married with grown-up children, I serve as a Fitzwaryn School Governor and as Treasurer of the Newbury Street Practice Patient Group ‘LINK’. I am an enthusiastic member of Grove's Fairtrade Group which works to maintain Grove’s accreditation as a Fairtrade Village.
 
A founder member of the local French Twinning Group, I enjoy hosting visitors from Mably, Grove’s twin town, including the recent 20th Anniversary of the Civic Twinning.  I am also a keen co-operator and Director of the local Midcounties Co-operative Society.
