My wife and I have lived in Grove for over 30 years. I was elected to the office of Parish Councillor at the election held in May 2007, and I am a member of the Planning, Leisure & Recreation and Finance & General Purposes Committees.

 
I am a chartered accountant by training and having recently retired from practice. I have served on the boards of Oxford Brookes University, John Radcliffe NHS Trust, Rutherford Appleton Laboratory and the former Oxford College of Further Education amongst others.
 
I am presently a member of the Audit Committee of The Higher Education Council of England, a governor of Abingdon and Witney College, a governor of Cokethorpe School, Oxfordshire Economic Partnership and other profit and not for profit organisations.
