I am new to Grove having moved here with my girlfriend in February 2009 when my job was relocated from the North West.  I previously lived in Oxfordshire in the mid-1990s when at university. 

I am a research scientist and software engineer at STFC Rutherford Appleton Laboratory working in the field of cancer research.  I studied physics at university and went on to become an astrophysicist until I changed career in 2005.  I grew up in South Devon in a town which expanded massively in the time I lived there, and so I have some experience of the sort of changes which Grove may experience in the coming years.

Having lived in Oxford, Brighton, Milton Keynes, Leicester and Warrington since leaving home I now hope and expect to settle here.  I think it's important to contribute to the local community, and am grateful for the opportunity this position on the Parish Council gives me to do so.
